Bint El Shalabiyah

In the mid-1980s, a young girl in war-torn Kurdistan tries to learn music by listening only to her ears. Her family suppresses her desires. In the midst of these struggles, when the bombing sirens sound, the girl, contrary to her family, decides not to go to the shelter; a choice to touch a few moments of freedom, even at the cost of her life.
